Not to toot my own horn but I was pretty awesome at making mixed tapes. Making a mix CD from a playlist on iTunes just doesn't compare to the sweat and blood that went into the mixed tapes. Which is why I am so happy to see old cassette tapes being used for such cool art purposes. Check out more portraits of famous musicians by self-taught artist, Erika Iris Simmons.
